2009 - Founded

Booking Tool is born

Founded in 2009 with a clear purpose: give transportation operators a better way to take reservations online. At the time, most limo and shuttle companies were managing bookings by phone and spreadsheet. We set out to change that with a purpose-built platform designed around the way transportation businesses actually operate.

Early Growth

Building the core platform

We launched our first module Airport Transportation giving operators the ability to configure fixed-rate pricing between airports and cities and take bookings online around the clock. Operators no longer needed to answer every call to capture a reservation.

Expanding

Adding Hourly and Point-to-Point

As operators told us about the other services they offered — weddings, proms, corporate transfers — we built to meet them. The Hourly Module and Point-to-Point Module extended the platform to cover the full range of private transportation services, each with its own pricing logic and booking flow.

Further Development

Launching the Shuttle Module

High-capacity shared transportation required a completely different approach. The Shuttle Module introduced pre-configured routes, per-seat pricing, passenger manifests, and departure scheduling — giving charter bus and shuttle operators a tool built for the way they actually sell seats.

A complete operations platform

Today, Booking Tool is a four-module platform covering airport transfers, hourly hire, point-to-point, and shared shuttle — with GPS tracking, integrated payments, automated communications, fleet management, and a full reporting suite. After more than 15 years, our mission remains the same: give transportation businesses software that works the way they do.
